The story of Mani Beach
Mani Beach has housed camping services since 1977. However, the history of the area begins much earlier, in the 50’s, when the Damilakos family produced wine and must. The estate was named “Stafida” (“Raisin”).The cultivation and harvesting was done by the whole family and under the guidance of their father.
The “father”, Petros Damilakos, was one of the first certified chemists of the Greek state. About 20 years later, the area was designed to accommodate campers, and was later renamed “Camping Mani Beach”, a name it still retains today.
